Swedish PACS firm Sectra has reported record earnings for its fiscal year 2000/2001. For the period (May 2000 - April 2001), the Linkoping-based company had record sales of $26.5 million (U.S.), up 52% from the $17.4 million posted a year ago.
Sectra had earnings before taxes of $3.6 million, compared with earnings before taxes of $2.2 million last year. Sectra's medical system operations expanded substantially both in Sweden and internationally during the year, according to president and CEO Jan-Olof Bruer.
