F.Y.I. HealthServe adds Web interface to TAP

The radiology archiving and imaging division of F.Y.I. HealthServe is partnering with Israeli PACS firm Algotec Systems to offer a Web-based service for its Teleradiology Archiving Program (TAP). With Algotec's MediSurf DICOM Web browser, clients will be able to access radiology films stored offsite at TAP operations facilities within minutes via the Web, according to Louisville, KY-based F.Y.I. HealthServe. TAP clients will also be able to electronically request files for recall as well as display recalled studies, according to the firm.
