The Austin Radiological Association (ARA) will install the Synapse PACS system by Fujifilm Medical Systems USA at 14 outpatient imaging centers throughout Austin, TX. The ARA group, which is staffed by 60 radiologists and 2,500 referring physicians, provides teleradiology services to 10 local hospitals.
The Via Christi Regional Health System in Wichita, KS has also chosen the Synapse system. Their facilities will share worklists using the Web-based Synapse and analyze workflow improvements over time, according to Fuji.
