Acuson of Mountain View, CA, and VMI Medical have jointly installed a KinetDx PACS network and an EchoVACS system at Children's Heart Center at Strong, University of Rochester Medical Center in New York. Acuson's KinetDx will integrate patient information throughout the hospital enterprise, while Ottawa-based VMI's EchoVACS will support the hospital's clinical database for fetal, pediatric, and adolescent echocardiography patients, according to the vendors.
