Eastman Kodak of Rochester, NY, has signed a global agreement with storage firm EMC of Hopkington, MA. EMC will be the preferred provider of online information storage systems and software for Kodak's new DirectView PACS family. The use of EMC's CLARiiON enterprise storage technology will offer fast, scalable, and reliable access to images and information, according to Gary Larson, general manager of imaging and information systems and vice president at Kodak's Health Imaging division.
