GE scores large ASP contract from HealthHelp

GE Medical Systems Information Technologies has received an exclusive five-year contract to provide radiology management service organization HealthHelp with GE application service provider (ASP) PACS services. The deal includes a commitment to provide ASP services at 125 sites over the next five years, according to Waukesha, WI-based GE.

GE will host, manage, and deliver PACS technology to HealthHelp member facilities. Providers will be able to access patient images and information with a pay-as-you-go model via Houston-based HealthHelp's Web portal, which provides a secure connection to the GE ASP services, according to GE. HealthHelp members cover more than seven million lives and support more than 135,000 healthcare providers.
