Image management and 3-D software provider AccuImage Diagnostics of South San Francisco, CA, has signed an agreement to provide 3-D image processing, scoring, report generation, and image distribution workstations to American Health Scan of Metairie, LA.
AHS is a subsidiary of imaging center operator National Imaging Affiliates, and will use the workstations for its InnerLook screening facilities. InnerLook centers provide cardiac and cancer screening services using AccuImage's scoring systems and high-speed CT scanning equipment.
AHS plans to establish a regional network of 39 InnerLook facilities, coupled with a fleet of 19 mobile units, to service a 10-state area prior to the end of 2002, according to the firms.
