PACS vendor Agfa has signed an agreement with Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. The hospital will be testing and evaluating the functionality needed for an Agfa cardiac workstation (including echocardiography), as well as nuclear cardiology features Agfa is developing for its Impax for Cardiology image and information management system. Previously, Brigham and Women's had participated in the initial clinical trials of Impax for Cardiology, according to the Ridgefield Park, NJ-based vendor.
