Radiology image distributor Aurora Technology has hired Robert O'Brien as vice president of sales and marketing. He will lead the firm's national marketing efforts and will focus on enhancing distribution channels for Aurora products, according to Aurora.
The firm is at a crucial stage, with several products in development and about to be released, said president Kate Sackman. O'Brien, with more than 25 years' experience in the healthcare and radiology industries, will help the firm deliver those products to a broad base of customers, Sackman said.
Aurora Technology has developed DICOM-compliant radiology image viewing technology. The Lake Bluff, IL-based firm provides customized workstations and storage and distribution systems for hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers.
