Radiology information systems provider ScheduleQuest will introduce version 2.0 of its Windows-based Direct Access and Connect products at next week's RSNA meeting in Chicago.
New features on version 2.0 include: automatic resource-based scheduling for single or multiple facilities; real-time Web scheduling capabilities for physicians and patients; automatic diagnostic coding with Medicare medical necessity checking; and insurance prompts for authorization and precertification requirements, according to the Kissimmee, FL-based vendor.
