PACS firm eMed Technologies has selected storage provider Network Appliance as the storage vendor of choice for its network-attached storage (NAS) image archiving offering. As part of its new Immedia series of archiving products, Lexington, MA-based eMed will offer Network Appliance's NetApp F800 filers. The agreement allows eMed to provide radiology groups, imaging centers, and hospital enterprises with instant access to archived medical images, according to the vendor.
