German image distribution provider RADIN has installed a teleradiology network at the Clinical Center for Heart Surgery Karlsruhe in Germany. With the RADIN software, medical images are transmitted from the facility to the heart center of the Ostalb Klinikum in Aalen using ISDN lines. A RADIN server then distributes the images to appropriate departments, according to RADIN of Fuerth, Germany.
In other customer news, RADIN has installed its Web-based image distribution system at Melk Hospital in Austria. Using the software, the hospital has connected its internal medicine, surgery, nuclear medicine, gynecology, and anesthesiology units with the radiology department, according to RADIN.
