After a nearly seven-month search to replace former CEO Caren Mason, PACS firm eMed Technologies has named Mark Smith as CEO and chairman.
Smith comes to the Lexington, MA-based firm from healthcare software and services company the Potomac Group, where he served as chairman and CEO. He has also held that position with several other healthcare and information software companies, according to eMed.
