GE to outfit all-digital heart hospital

GE Medical Systems will provide its Centricity enterprise-wide image and information management system to the Indiana Heart Hospital, a $60 million, 210,000-square-foot, all-digital hospital set to open in December.

Indiana Heart Hospital is a joint venture between Community Health Network of Indianapolis and cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons, according to Waukesha, WI-based GE. It will have 88 patient beds, 32 outpatient rooms, four surgery suites, six cardiac catheterization labs, and a cardiac emergency department.
