Philips Medical Systems and Lumedx featured an integrated cardiovascular information system at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting in Atlanta this week. The system is built on Lumedx’s Apollo Advance software, interfaced with Philips’ clinical information management system.
The Apollo Advance is a Web-based package that facilitates cardiovascular data collection for clinical and cost-management reports. Lumedx is headquartered in Oakland, CA, and has R&D facilities in Bellevue, WA.
Philips Medical Systems, whose North American headquarters is in Bothell, WA, also featured its EasyWeb 4.1 Web distribution solution, introduced last November. It includes teleconferencing, variable image compression to allow choice between speed and image quality, and an option that allows users to integrate photo files with the electronic patient record system.
