IDX Systems will be providing its vnetix PACS and IDXrad radiology information system to Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. The Burlington, VT-based vendor's systems will provide enterprise management of all radiology images and information, according to IDX.
The medical center conducts more than 200,000 radiology exams annually. IDX will also link its software with the institution's existing electronic medical record resources.
