Eastman Kodak has sold a large PACS network to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. The 831-bed facility has installed Kodak's DirectView PACS network with an EMC storage system, a StorageTek L700 tape library, and Kodak's DirectView diagnostic and review stations, according to the Rochester, NY-based vendor. The institution conducts more than 216,000 imaging procedures a year.
