Eastman Kodak Health Imaging has incorporated new workflow and automation features into its PACS Link network connectivity software. With PACS Link Release C, Kodak has added landscape-format printing support for all of the Rochester, NY-based vendor's DryView laser imagers.
Kodak has also increased the system’s flexibility to accommodate mixed image sizes, and more flexible CR image and text placement, according to the firm. Multiple film text boxes for patient and exam information from DirectView DR systems has also been added. Other new features include: support for Western Europe and Japanese text box characters, and larger text box printing fonts for easier reading.
