Agfa HealthCare of Ridgefield Park, NJ, has signed on Kentucky's Baptist Healthcare System for an enterprise-wide PACS installation. Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY, already has Agfa’s Impax PACS network installed, and has upgraded to Impax R4 and Impax for Cardiology, according to Agfa.
Agfa has begun installation of Impax at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, KY. Implementation will begin in June at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, KY, and in September at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY. Tri-County Hospital in La Grange, KY, will begin installing PACS at a yet-to-be-determined date.
