Healthcare practice management software developer VitalWorks of Ridgefield, CT, has launched RadConnect RIS, a new software product designed to function in both a practice-hosted and application service provider (ASP) environment.
RadConnect RIS uses server-side Java technology, enabling it to run regardless of the operating system used in the client's network. In addition to the portability and scalability inherent to its Java architecture, the system employs a Web browser-based user interface, according to the company.
