Agfa HealthCare has installed its Impax cardiology PACS network in three cardiac catheterization laboratories at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY. The product enables physicians from different departments to view images from multiple modalities on one monitor in the lab viewing room.
Other features of the software include image compression, on-demand image access and routing, and an open architecture to facilitate integration with other productivity applications, according to Agfa of Ridgefield Park, NJ.
