PACS and teleradiology provider RadInfo Systems has debuted PowerPACS Document Scan, a DICOM scanning tool for all medical documents.
Document Scan can capture any size document in a paper scanner, integrate associated patient and study information, and convert the image into DICOM 3.0 format, according to the Herndon, VA-based vendor. Available for both U.S. and international markets, Document Scan includes a workstation, monitor, multisheet auto-feeding scanner, and Document Scan software with DICOM modality worklist manager.
