Canadian PACS developer ALI Technologies reported second-quarter revenues of $11.5 million (U.S.), more than double the $5.5 million reported in the same period last year. For the quarter (end-March 31), the Richmond, BC-based firm had net income of $2.5 million, compared with net income of $450,000 in the second quarter of 2001.
During the second quarter, the firm commissioned 15 new customer sites and expanded or upgraded 28 existing customers to support 157 new imaging devices. The company also said it is expanding its headquarters facility to support 78 additional technical staff in operations, service, and engineering. ALI plans to complete the project by July.
