PACS and 3-D-software developer TeraRecon showcased Personal Digital Lightbox (PDLB) at last week's Symposium for Computer Applications in Radiology. PDLB is a new display option for the San Mateo, CA-based vendor's AquariusNet 3-D enterprise image server.
PDLB consists of multiple 15-inch liquid-crystal displays, each driven by a PC platform and providing display of three million pixels, according to the firm. TeraRecon said that PDLB can be configured with two, four, or eight displays, and is suitable for 2-D and 3-D CT or MR soft-copy diagnostic review.
