RIS Logic to incorporate Dictaphone software

Radiology information systems vendor RIS Logic of Solon, OH said a new version of its RIS Logic CS System, to be released in the second quarter of 2003, will have embedded digital dictation functionality from Dictaphone Healthcare Solutions Group, headquartered in Stratford, CT.

The new embedded digital dictation will provide dictation and playback throughout the RIS Logic CS system, which, according to the company, will eliminate system interfaces, sound card plug-ins, and entering accesssion numbers in the radiology information system.
