Barco debuts DICOM Theater

Display provider BarcoView has introduced DICOM Theater, a DICOM-compliant image projection system. DICOM Theater allows for consistent large-screen review, consulting, and training applications in hospitals, according to the Kortrijk, Belgium-based vendor.

It includes a high-brightness, one-megapixel medical-grade projector, a grayscale flat-panel display, a dedicated BarcoMed grayscale imaging board, and MediCal Pro QA management software. DICOM Theater can be configured in landscape and portrait modes, BarcoView said.
