Emageon signs PACS deal with Baptist Health

Emageon will install a centralized PACS infrastructure in four Alabama hospitals, using existing PACS components and Emageon’s open-systems architecture to expand the hospitals’ digital imaging capabilities.

Birmingham, AL-based Emageon’s system will involve Baptist Montclair, Baptist Princeton, Baptist Shelby, and Baptist Walker hospitals, with more than 360,000 radiological studies annually.
