The Italian firm’s highlights include new releases of its LifeWeb OnNet and ImageManager offerings.
Version 3.0 of Ferrania’s LifeWeb OnNet DICOM Web server adds improved online archiving capabilities, image processing tools, security features, and full compliance with the DICOM standard, according to the firm. OnNet 3.0 integrates with Ferrania’s RIS to distribute medical reports along with images.
In another introduction, Ferrania will display version 2.0 of its LifeWeb ImageManager archive offering. Featuring a scalable and distributed architecture, ImageManager 2.0 is suitable for clients ranging from a single radiology department to a multisite system, Ferrania said. Integration with other relevant information systems is achieved through compliance with the DICOM standard and IHE profiles.
Ferrania will also point booth visitors to LifeWeb One, a PACS offering targeted toward smaller healthcare organizations. LifeWeb One provides for acquisition, display, and distribution of images and reports, and includes enterprise-wide PACS functionality such as workflow automation and data security, according to the Cairo Montenotte, Italy-based vendor.
