Danish PACS firm Medical Insight has appointed William Burns as its president.
Prior to joining Medical Insight, Burns was vice president and general manager of radiology image and information systems firm Amicas of Boston, where he was responsible for sales and service operations for that firm's PACS, RIS, and financial markets, according to the Hedehusene, Denmark-based Medical Insight.
Burns will have responsibility for all functional operations in North America, including sales and marketing, client services, and market development, the company said.
