Medical information technology software developer Merge Healthcare has released the latest iteration of its Fusion Matrix PACS, version 2.1.
The new version includes features such as the capability to query and retrieve studies from third-party DICOM sources, reserve studies, and mark studies as preliminary, according to the Milwaukee-based vendor.
In addition, Fusion Matrix PACS 2.1 has additional new tools such as triangulation, which lets a user define a target point on an image to view the corresponding anatomical position in other series. The application is sold as a standalone PACS product or as part of Merge's Fusion RIS/PACS MX, the company said.
