Fujifilm Medical Systems has completed the installation of its Synapse PACS and digital x-ray equipment to the U.S. Air Force's Pacific Air Force Command (PACAF), according to the Stamford, CT-based vendor.
The PACS network will be deployed across all nine PACAF bases, spanning 64 million square miles of Pacific Ocean, Fuji said. The company also installed 14 of its Fuji Computed Radiography readers and upgrades, as well as a number of DryPix dry imagers.
