Amicas releases integration toolkit

PACS vendor Amicas has released a Web-based integration toolkit designed to provide connectivity and integration to third-party applications.

Utilizing extensible markup language (XML), the toolkit shares content between the Amicas' Vision Series PACS and applications such as digital document management, speech recognition, digital dictation, or teaching file applications, according to the Boston-based firm. Amicas said the toolkit is already being used by strategic partners Dictaphone, Hyland Software, and peerVue.
