Danish image and information management software developer Medical Insight has released its In/View EMR Viewing Suite.
The software package allows electronic medical record (EMR) systems to integrate medical imaging data from disparate PACS networks, according to the Birkerod, Denmark-based firm. Clinicians can access radiology and cardiology imaging data and analysis functions directly from within the EMR applications, regardless of the location or type of PACS network storing the image data, Medical Insight said.
In/View EMR Viewing Suite also provides for handling of various non-DICOM images and other data found throughout a healthcare enterprise, according to the firm. In addition, integrated imaging data and analysis functions can also be delivered to point-of-care mobile medical devices such as laptops, tablets, PDAs, and even mobile-broadband devices, Medical Insight said.
