Canadian display controller board provider Matrox Graphics said that display vendor Planar Systems of Beaverton, OR, has validated the Matrox AuroraVX and Med Series medical display controller boards with its Dome EX and PX displays.
The AuroraVX boards can power up to three displays from a single PCI Express board, and support a navigation console up to a resolution of 2 megapixels (MP) and a twin imaging display of up to 3 MP each, according to Dorval, Quebec-based Matrox.
