VIENNA - Diagnostic medical display developer Planar Systems unveiled its new Dome EX line for Europe at this week's European Congress of Radiology (ECR).
The Beaverton, OR-based vendor demonstrated the capabilities of its E4c 4-megapixel color display, which include a wide-screen 16:9 format that provides more screen real estate for multiple image studies and comparisons, 1,786 unique shades of gray, a brightness of 330 candelas per meter squared, and a 600:1 contrast ratio.
Dome showcased the E2c and E3c color and grayscale versions of its EX line (2- and 3- megapixel displays, respectively), as well as a new 5-megapixel grayscale display, the E5.
