Storage firm EMC has released two new versions of its Celerra platform. Celerra NS350 is a midtier system, while Celerra NS704 is an integrated system, according to the Hopkinton, MA-based firm.
NS350 can consolidate applications and servers into a single IP storage system, and can scale up to 10 terabytes of capacity, EMC said. NS704 combines the Celerra NS704 gateway with a Clariion CX700 storage array. The integrated network-attached storage (NAS) platform offers up to 48 terabytes of usable capacity and both NAS and iSCSI connectivity, EMC said.
In addition, EMC has rolled out Smart IP Availability Manager for NAS, which offers automated root-cause and impact analysis for network-attached storage.
