ATLANTA - Archive developer Candelis is launching two new versions of its ImageGrid RAID-based DICOM archive product line at this week's American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting.
The new archives, ImageGrid 200 and ImageGrid 700, are targeted at imaging facilities of different sizes. ImageGrid 200 is an entry-level RAID Level 1 archive designed for imaging facilities with a single modality, according to the company. The system features capacities of 250 or 500 GB storage, in mirrored disk configuration for increased data security. It sells for a retail price of $4,999.
ImageGrid 700 is designed for centers with multiple modalities, and comes in a rack-mounted design and RAID Level 5 configuration. The system is available in 1 and 2 TB options, and can also features embedded PACS functionality that eliminates the need for additional PACS servers and applications. ImageGrid 700 carries a price point below $10,000.
