PACS consulting and implementation firm The Thomas Group of Anaheim, CA, has finished PACS implementations at six different facilities in the first two months of 2006.
The firm is also planning to install PACS at 10 more facilities in the next six months. The pace of installations is a sign of the rapid growth of the PACS market, with the firm estimating that 50% of all U.S. healthcare facilities will be filmless by the end of 2006.
