Barco adds surgical display

Image display and advanced visualization software developer Barco has introduced a color flat-panel display for endoscopy and multimodality use in operating rooms.

The MDSC-1119 surgical display features a 19-inch 1.3-megapixel color LCD that supports high-definition video, according to Kortrijk, Belgium-based Barco. The device will display input from endoscopic cameras, room and boom cameras, and ultrasound scanners, as well as cardiology, PACS, anesthesiology, and patient information systems, the company said.

In addition, the monitor supports dual-channel picture-in-picture or picture-by-picture views of images from multiple input signals.
