PACS technology developer Sorna of Eagan, MN, has launched eXpedo BackUp, a new software module for use with its FilmX family of CD/DVD recording systems.
The eXpedo BackUp application provides the capability to make backup DVDs of DICOM images that are automatically routed to the recording systems. The product automates the process on the basis of the space capacity of a DVD, minimum capacity required, scheduled backup dates, length of time criteria between backups, or a combination of these elements, according to the developer.
