Image management firm Emageon has appointed PACS industry veteran Grady Floyd as COO.
Floyd joins Emageon after serving as president and CEO of CardioNow. He has also served as president and COO of Cemax-Icon, and recently was a co-founder and COO at healthcare technology business development consulting firm Vasant.
Current Emageon president and COO Milton Silva-Craig will be transitioning from the company over the next several months, according to the Birmingham, AL-based vendor. Chairman and CEO Chuck Jett will assume the additional title of president at the time of the transition, Emageon said.
