PACS vendor Dynamic Imaging plans to unveil new enhancements to its software, as well as a new marketing program, at the upcoming Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) meeting, April 27-29 in Austin, TX.
The Allendale, NJ, company will introduce Guardian, a systems monitoring tool that enables remote monitoring of hardware, software, and network connectivity from Dynamic Imaging's headquarters. Guardian is capable of monitoring the performance of the company's IntegradWeb software application, tracking routine performance criteria such as image acquisition and compression queues to proactively alert support teams before users experience problems with the system.
Dynamic Imaging will also show the latest release of IntegradWeb, featuring extended integration with hospital and radiology information systems, now totaling eight HIS and 27 RIS products. The most prominent of the new integrations is with the IDX Imagecast software from GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.
Finally, Dynamic Imaging will launch Boost, a new marketing program designed for ambulatory and acute care practices that provides the company's customers with PACS marketing tools such as 150 customized sets of professional-grade marketing materials. Boost is designed to increase referrals from referring physicians, and materials include print collateral, silk-screen CDs, and page prints of IntegradWeb's reports and key images, according to the company.
