Kodak notches Canadian CareStream order

The Grey Bruce Imaging Network in Owen Sound, Ontario, has selected Eastman Kodak Health Group's CareStream PACS and CareStream Enterprise Information Management systems to serve its regional network of healthcare facilities.

The PACS will be installed at all locations in the network, while the Enterprise Information Management platform will provide data management for clinical information systems for the 11 hospitals in the system, according to Rochester, NY-based Kodak. Nonclinical information systems may also be added in future, the company said.

The Grey Bruce Imaging Network also purchased data migration services from Kodak to transfer images from two of its member hospitals with existing PACS networks to the new platform, according to the firm.
