Candelis expands global distribution

AUSTIN, TX - Archive developer Candelis of Irvine, CA, has announced expanded global distribution for its ImageGrid product line at this week's Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) meeting.

Candelis has added two distributors to its U.S. network, bringing its total in the country to 10, and has also inked new distribution relationships covering the Netherlands, China, and India. Candelis is also evaluating distributors for Japan and South America.

The company is also announcing new customer installations. MMCi PACSnet, a provider of cost-savings programs for U.S. rural hospitals, is currently employing ImageGrid as the storage server for its PACSnet service. Meanwhile, Diagnostic Imaging has installed ImageGrid 1000 at its new medical imaging facility in Augusta, GA, to handle high-volume cardiac CT image storage and archiving, and provide optional features that enable online viewing/sharing of images with its local referring university radiology department.
