AUSTIN, TX - PACS technology provider Neurostar Solutions of Atlanta has announced a new version of its Virtual Radiology Network software at this week's Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) meeting.
VRN v.2 Enhanced includes new features designed to improve workflow and access to images across a healthcare enterprise. Universal Workflow Management integrates images from multiple facilities into a single, unified work list, while Study Life Cycle Management facilitates study prioritization and workload balancing. The Control Dashboard feature gives group administrators a real-time view of their group's workload and offers retrospective performance reports for members.
Other enhancements include a diagnostic viewer that downloads automatically over the Web. Support for Neurostar's Virtual Radiology Community Web site has also been added.
In other news, Neurostar announced the 300th installation of its VRN software, at University Center Imaging in Marion, OH.
