ODS will show off its redesigned PACScomm CD/DVD recording system at this year's RSNA conference in Chicago.
The new design features a fully enclosed and integrated system with a single footprint, according to the Mendota Heights, MN-based firm. This allows PACScomm to be adaptable to multiple surface options, including tables or shelving, ODS said.
ODS will also release its version 2.6 software release for PACScomm, which includes the ability to autoreconcile patient and study information using a worklist server. The new version also provides a new external query selector that allows users to specify single- or multiple- archive searches, ODS said.
In addition, version 2.6 brings enhanced administrative configurability of automated processes that provide study search and status information, ODS said. Other features include enhanced structured report configurability, improved Web page customization tools for displaying reports in HTML, and additional support for the DICOM specification for CD media creation, according to the company.
ODS will also direct attention to PACScomm Lite, a manual disk-feed configuration designed for lower-volume, cost-sensitive environments.
