Healthcare IT firm 7 Medical Systems has introduced on-demand electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS services in Minnesota, Florida, Georgia, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.
The 7i Imaging-on-Demand Suite provides an enterprise-wide digital imaging platform on a pay-per-study basis, according to the Minneapolis-based firm. The system includes advanced 2D and 3D visualization functionality, a virtualized image archival system, a gateway for image compression, local storage and routing, a Web-based interface for image viewing and retrieval, and a brokering application, 7 Medical Systems said.
The company said it has signed five-year service agreements with 14 healthcare entities, including nine ambulatory clinics, three imaging centers, and two community-based hospitals.
