PACS firm eRad announced it has added a RIS as part of its line of workflow products.
The Greenville, SC-based company recently signed an OEM agreement with RIS Concepts of Miami, which will provide eRAD with a branded RIS to be integrated with its eRad PACS.
The two companies have also recently completed an implementation of the RIS/PACS network at the Huntsville Imaging Center in Huntsville, TX.
eRAD RIS with eRAD PACS is available now, and is being shown at this week's RSNA meeting in Chicago, according to eRad.
In other company news, Roy Miller, Ph.D., has been appointed as president, effective immediately. Miller previously held the position of vice president of corporate development, and will now report to Peter Karoly, eRad chairman and CEO.
