Cape Cod Healthcare of Hyannis, MA, has signed a contract with storage firm EMC of Hopkinton, MA, to use its software, storage, and related services.
Cape Cod Healthcare has more than 400 physicians and 4,000 employees, and will use the technology for its Continuous Computing program, designed to enable facilities and clinicians to provide medical services to patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Cape Cod Healthcare system administrators currently use EMC NetWorker Module for Meditech software to perform full backups of Meditech applications, such as administration, clinical and patient care, electronic medical records, and financial applications.
