Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has moved into the cardiology market with the acquisition of cardiology PACS vendor Problem Solving Concepts (ProSolv) of Indianapolis.
The company will now be known as ProSolv CardioVascular, a Fujifilm company, and will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary, according to Stamford, CT-based Fuji. Fuji said its Synapse PACS and the ProSolv software applications share similar software technology approaches that have already enabled systems integration to take place.
The ProSolv CardioVascular Enterprise PACS product is currently installed at approximately 350 sites, Fuji said.
